CHEVS
Center for Health Education and vulnerable Support (CHEVS) is a youth-led organization with a focus on human rights as well as sexual reproductive health and rights of diverse youth groups. We specialize in addressing structural barriers to SRHR, stigma & discrimination and Inequality by creating communities, empowering young talents, involving ourselves and our partners in an impact-oriented activity.
Our strength lies in our Lived experiences and knowledge of our community peculiarity. We use a community-initiated and driven approach to build our communities by looking at core values, priorities, target audience, best practices, and methodology on how to craft an authentic message that is cohesive to great foundational community building. In the pursuit of a just and inclusive society through a human rights approach, we are motivated by the need to:
- Promote sexual and reproductive, health and rights.
- Promote preventive healthcare services to mitigate sexually transmitted Infections, HIV/AIDS and other incidental/opportunistic infections.
- Collaborate with organizations (International, National and local) to provide educational, economic and other social aids to sexual minorities.
- Accelerate visibility/ social acceptance of LGBTQI persons
- Promote inclusion and rights through feminist principles.
